![]() ![]() I guess they're dead hands? This is where the monster (Bongo Bongo) was sealed before it managed to break free and move to the Shadow Temple. There's a pond down there with hands clawing up, but they're not really moving so. There are undead in the floor below that one (which, if you're not careful, you can fall into, which might be what happened to those undead). It has a room in the middle with cells and some kind of torture device (there's visible blood on the floor). There's a mini dungeon that you have to traverse as a child that's called "Bottom of the Well". Also, the Shadow Temple is above the graveyard but it's inaccessible unless you know a specific warp song (it warps you there) dunno if there's any relevancy there (aside from the undead monsters). What this is actually referring to is unknown (to me, at least) since the games that come before Ocarina of Time in the timeline don't really show anything gruesome involving the royal family of Hyrule, unless if they're talking about the various times the land has been threatened. The Shadow Temple has a section that reveals that Hyrule has had a dark and bloody past and partly thanks to the royal family of Hyrule. The Shadow Temple is the most obvious because it's the most in-your-face. Most of the "darkness" in Ocarina of Time is implicit, in other words, you have to look for it and think on it.
